I've Got The Fever!

It's not the time first time I've caught the fever. I'm sure it won't be the last time I catch it either. But I've definitely got it right now...

A bad case of baby fever. All it took was a very brief conversation about nursery decor. And I do mean brief.

Andrew and I went into a furniture store Saturday. He wanted to show me a painting he saw in there awhile back. While strolling through, I saw a chair that was the exact fabric/style that I have in mind for a nursery.

No, we aren't expecting, but I'm always looking at nursery ideas. See, I don't want to find out the sex of the baby ahead of time. But at the same time I want a cute stylish nursery. So I'm always looking. This used to give me the fever, but I've gotten past that. Or maybe I just don't look as often anymore.

Anyways, I saw this chair that was perfect. I asked Andrew what he thought of the color combination. When he agreed that he liked it, I told him why I was wondering. He felt like it was a gender neutral combo.

I was ecstatic that he liked what I liked. And that's all it took. Now I'm dreaming of babies and nurseries and all the fun stuff.

But at the same time, I'm completely okay about not having a baby right now. I have submitted this area to my husband and to my Heavenly Father. I'm trusting them completely. God has shown me on more than one occasion over the past several months that this was not the season of life in which we should have children. I know that His timing is perfect and that His ways are higher than mine. For that I'm thankful.

But I can't help but to search for nursery ideas. At least by the time we do have a baby I might have some idea of what I want. Right?
