Yes, when I was 5! When I was in Kindergarten, I rode the bus past my house and to my best friend's house every day. Her mom kept me until my mom got off work. One day I just forgot and got off at my house. The bus was long gone before I realized that I was home alone and locked out. We lived on a dirt road in the middle of nowhere. There was never any traffic. I remember sitting on the front porch just crying scared to death. Then a car started coming. My little five year old self got so excited. I ran to the end of the driveway and started screaming, jumping up and down, and waving my arms. The man in the car drove right past me. But then he turned around and came back. I hopped in the car with him and gave him directions to my friend's house. I'm still amazed at 5 that I knew how to get there. I am awful with directions.
